quilt is made from strip piecing which is rotary cut and machine
sewn. It is a fast strip pieced quilt which suits many different
colour combinations. Plaids stripes and small prints give a traditional
look. Bright colours will give a contemporary look. Different layouts
will be offered for you to choose from for this single bed quilt
with either a plain or pieced border.

look by machine while making two small projects. A techniques class
with lots of great tips for both beginners and experienced quilters.
You will be working on one traditional piece using monofilament

scrap look which is important for this design. You will learn how

colourwash of tessellated stars. The original pattern was designed
by Camille Remme from Canada. This is combined with very simple
cutting and piecing techniques to create a wonderful mosaic quilt.
The challenge is the colour manipulation. It is suitable for those
quilters with some experience with template free cutting and sewing
and would like to make something a little different but very pleasing
to the eye.

is no reason why you could not make this quilt in country colours
using checks and plaids. A great workshop for those looking for
something a little more challenging. The pieced blocks are made
from diamond shapes and triangles which are rotary cut and machine
sewn. This workshop is not suitable for beginners.

you like medallion style quilts, rotary cutting and machine sewing
then this is the quilt for you. This is a beautiful quilt which
can be made from two colour combination such as blues and reds or
it can be made multicoloured. The design suits country, traditional
and contemporary fabrics and is generally loved by all ages. During
this two day workshop you will make the centre medallion and some
of the borders. Different settings to complete the quilt top will
be discussed.
